Flat heating element

The Mineral Insulated Strip Heaters from Watlow is capable of bringing the heater sheath and element wire closer to create easy heat flow. These thin heaters are made of insulated minerals that are capable of embedding a nickel-chromium element wire within a mineral insulation. Its material allows for improved conductivity as compared to hard ceramic and mica insulators found in standard insulators.

These heater strips are ideal for a wide range of applications, including solder pots, zinc die-casting equipment, die and mold heating, high-temperature resins, tank and platen heating, packaging equipment and ovens.
