For effective heat transfer of nickel chromium element wire to the sheath, Watlow's 375 is of highly-compressed MgO-based insulation that comes in 51?2" to 48" lengths. These two-inch aluminium steel finned strip heaters increase surface contact for speedy heat conduction into air and expand lower sheath temperature and element life.
