Vilvoorde, January 2015 ? Komatsu Europe International N.V. introduces the
PC490/LC-11 hydraulic excavator to the European market. This new excavator further leverages
Komatsu?s leadership in technology and innovation with an environmentally friendly EU Stage IV
Komatsu engine, up to 11% inproved fuel efficiency, an upgraded cab design and enhanced safety
and serviceability. Productivity is maximized and operating costs are reduced.
Built on proven EU Stage IIIB engine technology Komatsu?s EU Stage IV engines are productive,
dependable and efficient. With a net 270 kW (362 HP) @ 1.900 rpm and operating weights between
46.470 kg 48.860 kg, the PC490/LC-11 maintains the powerful performance of the previous
Komatsu model.
