Especially for manufacturing of rack dies a state-of-the-art grinding machine line was developed based on Profiroll experiences in cooperation with a strong grinding machine tool partner. These CNC-controlled grinding machines are the most important part of our Rack die grinding department. This results in high productive rack dies with smallest tolerances.

Differing from Circular Die machines the standard Rack die process is based on a feed that is already in the Rack geometry. There are no machine parts that make a feeding movement. Only due to movement of the rack the profiles moves into material and coldforms the spline. After receiving your workpiece spline details we can calculate necessary rack die length.
