The tension and compression force sensor ZK 2 is equipped onboth sides with internal threads and is suitable for precise measurementof forces in rods. Using high-strength ring screws, thesensor can also be used between ropes. A use with threadedrods is also possible. The sensors are easy to install in existingmachines or in inaccessible places.The application of measuring force must be axial and centrically.Bending and torsional forces are to be avoided becausethey can damage the sensor permanently and falsify the measurementresult.The sensor operates on the principle of compression body, theelastic deformation of the measuring element is taken fromfilms-based strain gauges in a full bridge circuit. This robustmeasuring principle ensures long-term stability, even whenusing the sensor under harsh conditions. An amplifier of theHAEHNE product program provide the voltage supply to the fullbridge and is also processing the measurement signals.
