MAHLE Turbidity Sensor PiT 400 was developed to meet the requirements of applications that identify turbidity in hydraulic fluids. The ingress of water can cause turbidity, while the water in these fluids can harm the entire system and even reduce the life span of the pressure fluid and the components in the system.

This sensor is able to identify this process as it happens, so users can take all the precautionary measures in advance, before the occurrence of a failure. In addition to this, great security is offered by the sensor for the whole system, while users can also install it in all fluid systems that can be contaminated by water.

It is recommended that users install the sensor in the tank, return line or oil cooling bypassing. Note that users can easily calibrate it to the normal fluid condition with the single push of a button.
