GE's D series reheat large combined-cycle steam turbine are designed to meet requirements of efficient power generation in various industrial steam turbine applications. It comes from a combination of fossil and nuclear fleet experience and reliability with the straight condensing features characteristic of industrial steam turbines.

The result is a structure that can be adapted to various single and multi-shaft offerings. This is meant for F class or higher gas turbine technologies which support economical use of 3-pressure level designed steam turbine.
