The CRYOSTAR turboexpanders for natural gas processing and the petrochemical industry feature pressures up to 150 bar, with power output from 100 kW to 12,000 kW. The CRYOSTAR has made a name for itself by manufacturing magnetic bearings expanders, with implementation of active magnetic bearings (AMB). They are commonly used for dew point control, ethane recovery, NGL recovery, LNG production and projects with high amount of liquid at expander outlet. They are available with various shaft sealing systems, depending on the specific use. They can operate with inlet temperatures down to -196 °C. They are ISO 9001/2000 certified, and guarantee a quality, reliable and stable operation.
