The PRA Proportional Ratio Assembly provides a solution for applications requiring inert gas pressure control greater than 1000 psig (up to 6000 psig) using electro pneumatic controls. Electro pneumatics applications for pressures less than 1000 psig can make use of the GP1, the QB1 or the QPV1 electronic pressure regulators instead.

While there are other high pressure electronic pressure regulators commercially availble, they are cost prohibitive for most customers. The PRA Proportional Ratio Assembly from Equilibar provides a more economical solution to applications requiring electropneumatic control.

PRA High Pressure Electronic Pressure Regulator Assemblies.

The PRA series Proportional Ratio Assembly allows an electronic signal to proportionally control a high pressure pneumatic output pressure signal. The PRA is most often used to allow the pilot set point pressure signal to an Equilibar precision back pressure regulator (BPR) to be controlled automatically or remotely using an electronic command signal. The PRA can also be used as a stand alone assembly in any application that requires an electronic signal to regulate a high pressure compressed gas.
