The Model 40 is specifically designed to allow a good quality device with a superior functionality to be combined in one. The standard models have precise band adjustments for regulating processes where the load shifts are not frequent and can be operated by the manual reset feature. Through the aid of a simple screwdriver adjustment, the standard proportional controller can be adjusted to on/off control function. The controllers are also available with 100% control modes, 200% proportional plus reset and 300% proportional plus reset plus rate. The model does not only satisfy ordinary control requirements but are also precise in regulating processes with unfavorable characteristics. The model can be used as an indicating transmitter which can be mounted closer to the point of measurement that transfers an air pressure signal equal to the measured variable.
