EMC ventilation grill / honeycomb

The StreamShield? Commercial EMI Vents are equipped with fire barrier coatings. These vents offer high EMI shielding levels in applications such as wireless infrastructure cabinets and computer networks. The structure has an aluminum honeycomb inside rolled aluminum frames which turns it into a lightweight, high airflow vent for enclosures that need high levels of shielding (50 dB at 10 GHz) and cooling. Fire-proof properties are provided by an optional intumescent coating which expands rapidly to fill the cells of the honeycomb and prevents the flame from entering when exposed to flame or heat at 300°F. The honeycomb cells are 1/8 inch and 1/4 inch thick. The whole honeycomb assembly is chromate conversion coated. SLIMVENT? Thin Profile EMI Vents Chomerics' SLIMVENT? air ventilation panels enable 90 dB attenuation at 1 MHz to 50 dB at 10 GHz.
