The SITRANS LVS200 by Siemens is a vibrating point level switch for high bulk material loads and has a high resistance to mechanical forces. It is initially designed to disregard liquids in order to discover the interface between a solid and a liquid; it has an optional detection of solids within liquid. This instrument has a compact design that can be top, side or angle mounted. It is uniquely designed to eradicate false high level readings even when tines become damaged and it has an optional 4 to 20 mA output for monitoring buildup on the fork to determine when preventative maintenance should be performed in sticky applications. Also, a pipe extension version is available.
