AVS Pro III is automatic measuring instrument for ascertaining the viscosity of Newtonian fluids with capillary viscometers. It is extremely accurate and reproducible allowing 24-hours unattended operation for large variety of fluids. It uses the capillary method, being the best method for determining viscosity of Newtonian liquids in terms of physical chemistry. Equipped with optical and TC sensing systems, it offers versatility in measurement of clear liquids as well as opaque petroleum products. A three-axis positioning mechanism (X-Y-Z) of the sample dosing system allows parallel operation of up to eight viscometers in two thermostatic baths and can be optionally set at two different measurement temperatures. It reduces the workload of qualified employees, particularly when working with time-consuming series measurements. Its automated operation ensures safety while working with aggressive working medium like sulfuric acid. A Pro Clean system and micro dosing removes necessity for filtration of hazardous items
