Stack cutter

The PK1500 Stack Cutter is utilized to cross-cut board stacks with exceptional accuracy. The bar nose holder steers the guide bar which comes in lengths of 150 cm, 135 cm or 120 cm (59", 53" or 47"). The powerful 5 kW (7 hp) 3-phase electric motor E5000 drives the standard 3/8 cross-cut chain.

With this device, Logosol has come up with a smaller and lighter solution to the earlier function (which was very expensive to achieve). This solution is in the form of a stack cutter which can take the cut linearly vertically. This type of feature is more typical of larger industrial machines. Linear cutting is advantageous in that the capacity is substantially increased in regard to the size of the board stack and the sawing speed. The stack cutter from Logosol is made from aluminum and therefore has a relatively low weight.
