Cut-to-length cutting line

Cross cutting unit for flexible, accurate and burr-free cutting of coil material with a max. width of 1,250mm and a thickness of up to 1.25mm. The use of the Schlebach cross cutting unit provides a reduction of waste by processing of format sheets. That´s why the coil material can be used highly efficient and the costs are reduced.

The optimised arrangement of the control elements combined with one touch panel control means that a single operator can control the machine. The cross cutting unit is equipped with a stainless steel infeed table, a fixed and an adjustable stop. The fixed and the adjustable stop of the side sheet guide are equipped with ball bearings for low edge-wear strip infeed. The infeed width is continuously and precisely adjustable from a min. of 200mm to a max. of 1,250mm. The strip feeder is also equipped with specially coated low-wear feed rollers. Cross-cuts are executed by a roller shear with high quality tool steel roller blades that is installed downstream from the slitting unit. To guarantee time-optimized operations, the range of movement of the roller shear is continuously adjustable by means of limit switches. The limitations that apply to the range of movement do not cause redundant motion when processing narrow coil material.

The cross cutting unit is both robust and easy to maintain. The danger zones are protected by hoods to guarantee that the machine operators are afforded the highest possible level of safety.
