The ZP-S series is a range of force transducers from Magtrol that measures static and dynamic forces. The series is characterized by its low dimensions at a high measuring accuracy. A strain gauge bridge changes the elastic deformation of the S-shaped flectional body into an interpretable electrical signal. It utilizes compensation and adjustment elements to reach the needed technical requirement.

The models in this series with below 50 N are made from tough aluminum alloy. The larger sizes, on the other hand, are forged from steel. The 10N, 20N, and 50N models are integrated with an overload fuse to guarantee a safe operation. They are also supplied with an amplifier with model ZP-E/10 N to 2 kN, and have various output signals of 0 to10 V or 4 to 20mA
