Straddle carrier

The MD-040 has a maximum of 90° steering on all four driving wheels.The shock absorbers, mounted on the steering wheels, enable the MD-040 transporter to remain level on uneven ground.
Hoisting: Hydraulic hoisting with cylinders and multiple steel cables. Controls and levers synchronise their movement from the driver?s seat. MD-040?s structure is solid and has been built with selected materials thus guaranteeing maximum safety and reliability. The structure with a double portal connected by two horizontal crossbars was designed according to the technical commission FEM A3 (European Handling Federation) and according to the CE 98/37 machine rules. Another important feature of the MD-040 is the driver?s seat: it is comfortably positioned and guarantees the operator a clear and precise visibility of all the transport manoeuvres of the tube bundle. Furthermore the driver?s position is equipped with all the necessary controls to carry out the various operations giving the operator total control.
