The Router 6675 is part of the Ericsson Router 6000 Series. It is a compact, extremely high capacity, and flexible router perfectly suited for deployment in the metro aggregation or as a high-end access router. It is ideal for aggregating and protecting large numbers of access sites through its support for redundancy and In Service Software Upgrades (ISSU). As a high-end access device, it can aggregate large numbers of macro cells and small cells for mobile backhaul and supports large centralized RAN sites. In addition, it is perfect for aggregating FTTx access nodes and enterprise connections.
The Router 6675 has been optimized for 10G and 100G interfaces in a 1RU form factor with best in class cost points, line rate forwarding and superior port density. It supports L2VPN and L3VPN services over IP/MPLS networks, Service Provider SDN (SP-SDN) transport, service exposure using industry standard interfaces, over 300Gbps line rate forwarding, and extensive quality of service and precise synchronization features. Advanced security features are also supported in the Router 6675.
