Brief description

AC asynchronous motors with squirrel-cage rotor are constructed with an AC coil in the stator slots and with a copper, aluminium or brass cage rotor. Thus, the design of the motors are very simple, robust and low wearing. The motors are designed for operation on the mains or frequency converter.

The Squirrel-cage motors are used in nearly all industrial sectors, et al. as drives for pumps, fans, compressors, presses, extruders, machine tools, auxiliary drives on ships etc.
