Band heater

The standard version of PI band heaters will have an external sheath. These are made out of steel with high thermal conductivity. This in turn makes them resistant to corrosion. This standard version of the PI band heaters have a Ni-Cr 80/20 winding and continuous mica insulation. There are power cables present in teflon-glass insulated nickel. These prove to be ideal for high temperatures. The tightening is done by means of the hose clamps that come equipped with the hexagonal socket head screws. The ideal working temperature is 350°C and tolerance is voltage ± 5%. Resistance is at ± 5% and the dimension measures ± 2 mm.
