Compression load cell / button type

The FCT is a moment or force sensor in the SCHUNK range of sensors. With its integrated electronics, it is a compact and attractively-priced unit that has uses in simple applications. The quick-change, flat sensor has a slim contour and multiple independent ranges of load measurement. An accuracy measurement of 3% allows for moments up to 3nm and forces up to 150N to be recorded. Since the sensor is designed for robotics, it is capable of handling a temporary overload up to three times the regular load.

Highly dynamic concepts for control are enabled by the FCT, thanks to its real-time output functions and measurement. Other purposes for this sensor unit include assembly applications, hand-operated or service robot applications, and mobile applications with its battery servable power supply of 24V DC.
