The Gibitre has a four-column mechanical structure with a self-lubricating bushing hydraulic system integrated with a 20 ton closure force. The hydraulic system drives the sliding plate that carries the measurements 250 x 250 mm and 40 mm thickness. It is made from chrome plated steel and designed to provide minimal deflection even at high pressing forces. Furthermore, there is uniform distribution of temperature across the platen surface due to the specially designed flat heating elements.

Other features integrated with the device are automatic press control, cooling system and closure force control, user-friendly touch screen display, and automatic press control. The touch screen in the PLC controller shows the molding cycles, thermal cycle, and the displacements of the molding platen.
