The SIKA VMI 10 instruments are utilized in operations like cooling processes in machine, plant engineering, and in constructing services. Functionality of the highly advanced detectors of the induQ® series is in accordance with the induction principle, that the measuring pipe is present in a magnetic field. If an electrically conducting intermediate, with a measurable flow, moving along the measuring pipe and thus at a right-angle to the magnetic field, a voltage is induced in the medium. This voltage is in correspondence to the mean flow velocity and is picked up by two electrodes.
There are two editions available in respect to their flow proportional output signals, a Frequency output signal and an optional Analog and frequency output signal. The pulse rating can be composed at the factory.
