The VMZ 081 is an electromagnetic flow meter that functions based on the principle of induction. The gauging pipe is integrated within a magnetic filed. When an electrically conductive medium possessing a measured flow passes through the measuring pipe at a right-angle to the magnetic field, a voltage is generated in the medium. The voltage produced is proportionate to the standard flow velocity and is selected by 2 electrodes. It is specially designed for applications such as mobile operations, machine and plant engineering and cleaning procedures as well. This electromagnetic flow meter is capable of generating a standard frequency output signal and an alternative analog and frequency output signal. Its pulse rate can be pre-arranged at the factory.
