The BI 13-F-24V DC-25% ED is manufactured by Kuhnke, and is a linear solenoid that has an insulation group that complies with the VDE 0110 C 75 standards. The unit has a rated test voltage of 500 V and a voltage rating of 24 V DC. It also has a thermal stability of class E, thus having an ambient operating temperature of up to +120 °C.

The BI 13-F-24V DC-25% ED has a protection rating of IP 00, and has a rated drop-out time of 12 ms. It also has a rated actuation time of 14 ms.
