Anritsu's MD1230B is the first compact Ethernet/IP network data analyzer in the industry and having a dual functioning of network monitoring and speed performance analysis built in the same instrument. What makes the MD1230B truly versatile and easy to use by anyone for network testing environments is the intuitive GUI based on windows XP and a modular architecture. The mainframe of the MD1230B has five slots in which any among a slew of interface modules described in the 'features' above can get installed. Another plus of the windows XP based GUI is the capability to permit multiple simultaneous operators to control the MD120B units from an external PC remotely via the 10/100 Mb Ethernet IP connection, using the similar GUI that is seen on the screen of MD1230B. With the applications ranging from R and D to manufacturing and from maintenance to installation, the MD1230B can also daisy chain to other (multiple) MD1230B units to increase the port density.
