This range of fiber optic cables by FiberPlex are available in a wide range of configurations. Additionally, there are three general jackets and 4 types of fiber cables to choose from. The three types of jackets include PVC and even though PVC represents Polyvinyl Chloride, almost all of today's fiber is being replaced with halogen free solutions. In FiberPlex applications, PVC is a basic term to indicate a standard, lightweight versatile jacket that can be used for common fitting applications.

Next up is Phenum jackets, which are crafted fro installation in air handling environments. When it it burned, the jackets will not discharge toxic gasses, and these types of jackets tend to be be a rigid than PVC models. Finally, the tactical fiber jackets are heavy and glossy in nature and arrive with a breakout cable. Each strand of fiber is appointed with kevlar yarn and separately jacketed. Adding to this, all separate jackets are then packaged with more yarn of kevlar and bundled in a heavy duty rubber exterior jacket.
