Filter press is periodically functioning equipment for pressure filtration.

PURPOSE

Filter presses are used in the following cases:

when maximum the separation of phases is required;

when a filtrate of high purity is required;

when minimum cake humidity is required;

for cost efficient cake washing;

when the high pressure is required for slurry separation
Metallurgy (slurries of non-ferrous metal ore concentrates, iron ore concentrates, wet-cleaning oven gases, neutralized wastewater of etching stretches, galvanic effluent).

Food industry (1st saturation sugar juice, melt liquor of cane raw sugar, sunflower oil, kvass wort, wine, juice).

Chemical industry (titanium dioxide slurry, zeolite slurry, catalyst production slurries, silica white slurry, liquid glass, various process slurries)

Cement industry (sludge at wet method of cement production)

Kaolin, ceramics, porcelain production (clay and kaolin slurries)

Coal industry (sludge flotation)
