Magnetic float level switch / for liquids / side-mount

Features such as an adjustable deadband combined with direct 2-1/2" threaded or 2-1/2" flange mount make the 500 series a perfect machine for liquid level control in large or small tanks. Customers can choose the material of the machine chamber from cast-iron, cast-steel or cast 316 steel which makes sure that it sustains through all the demanding applications. It is equipped with float rods from the standard 6"(152.4mm) up to 24" (610mm) long. These rods are capable of providing action down to a specific gravity of 0.55.

A 2-1/2" (64 mm) float has an ideal working pressure of 400 psig (28 bar), whereas a 2-1/2" x 4" (64 x 102 mm) float can work efficiently up to a pressure of 200 psig (14 bar). It can sustain upto a maximum temperature of 425°F (218°C). Customers can choose from a number of options for circuits such as SPST, SPDT or DPDT with hermetically sealed snap action or mercury contacts. It is available with Single pole, double throw electrically independent circuits along with contact for high or low DC current applications.
