The ROTAMAT® Screw Press RoS 3Q consists of a conical screw shaft and cylindrical sieves that contains three treatment zones: a three-part thickening and dewatering zone, a press zone with pneumatic counter-pressure cone as well as an inlet and drive zone. Its features include minimal wear and noise, established sludge residence time, less filter resistance, insensitivity to rough material via extensive gap between the sieve and screw conveyor, zero permanent cleaning, reduced wash water and energy consumption, permanent movement of filter cake in addition to elevated dewatering degrees with fibrous sludge. It also incorporates a pneumatically controlled pressure cone system.
