The Corning® Bottle Top Vacuum Filters is a new square filter support for improved filtering operation. The application of these vacuum filters is suitable on glass or polystyrene media bottles to filter cell culture media, biological fluids and other aqueous solutions. This vacuum filter comes with 500mL polystyrene filter funnel with a 0.2µm pore 33.2cm² nylon membrane and a 45mm diameter polyethylene neck adaptor with hose connector. Nylon is used as a material component of the filter for it is naturally hydrophilic, surfactant-free and offer the lowest extractables. Each filter is individually packaged, steriled and certified nonpyrogenic with pore size printed on the unit for easy identification.
