The PUB212 series of special purpose chucks from KITAGAWA is made with an open center for accurate shaft machining. Its jaws have a 3mm stroke, and an 85 - 210 mm gripping range. The 60.5 kilogram unit is capable of providing pull forces up to 35 kilonewtons, and gripping forces up to 100 kilonewtons. Its moment of inertia is .675 kgm2, and it is capable of handling pressures up to 3.35 MPa.
