Rod lock brake / for pneumatic cylinders

Safety Locks form SITEMA are used against failures of lifting members like Safety Catchers and Safety Brakes. However they are unsuitable for use to decelerate masses or to dissipate kinetic energy. Having a small rod displacement that is used to build up the holding force it can be suitably used for approximate positioning tasks as well. Its design allows compact solutions to even small rod sizes (small than Safety Catchers). So this Safety Lock provide highest holding forces in pneumatic clamping devices in context to housing dimensions.
