It may be the smallest loader in the P&H LeTourneau-Series wheel-loaders family, but that's where the "smallness" ends. Providing an operating capacity of 54000 lb (24494 kg) with a 1050 hp (783 kW) diesel engine, and an 18 yd³ (13.76 m³) bucket as standard equipment, the L-950 can center-load haulage trucks with payload ratings ranging from 75-150 ton (68-136 tonne). Though lower in capacity than LeTourneau's other loaders, the L-950 shares the same design features and proven components found on the company's giant machines.
