SWINDON embed control processors from tiny custom processors to ARM Cortex-M processors providing a full ecosystem (e.g. in-circuit emulation, debug trace, software simulators and other development tools, with third-party software available to integrate). 100MIPS is a practical headline upper bound on processor performance. What is important of course is system performance. SWINDON architect the system-on-chip hardware around the processor: on-chip bus interfacing to memories, interface controllers and peripherals (interrupt controller, timers, GPIO, DMA, watchdogs, ) and additionally can integration third-party soft and hard IP.
