Sensor interface ASIC

Melexis' new versatile and fully integrated programmable sensor interface is the solution for automotive and industrial applications. The MLX90320 provides an amplification, a calibration and a temperature compensation for almost all kinds of resistive bridge type sensors, which includes pressure transducers, strain gauges as well as position sensors. Melexis' programmable through connector concept is for high-volume implementations and will allow programming in the production environment post assembly. Features an operating temperature range of -40°C to 150°C as well as various implemented clamping detection and fault/diagnosis modes. Over-voltage and reverse polarity protection make the MLX90320 the perfect fit for automotive applications. An evaluation board for this chip is available.
