The Gibitre Tensor Check is a programmable tensile-testing system designed for testing mechanical characteristics of materials. Designed for the application of load cells up to 20 kN, the system features a double screw structure with a recycling of ball-bearings. The instrument accommodates a broad array of load cells which operate in traction and compression. An automatic detection of the load cell is also designed into the system.

The crosshead displacement is measured using a 0.0025 mm resolution. The operation speed can be adjusted from 0.1 to 1000 mm/min. To adjust the slide stroke and to automatically return upon the termination of a test, a safety limit switch is mounted on the instrument.

The system also comes with a software which includes a wide range of predefined test procedures in compliance with international standards.
