The DiscGrinder 8530 Series, manufactured by Horiba®, is a simple preparation disc grinder ring & puck mill that includes a sound-proof enclosure that supply a sample sizes that comes in a wide variety of ranges from 2 - 100 grams that is suited for cements, soils, ceramics, slag, rocks, minerals, ores, and the like. Furthermore, it has a 115V/60Hz or 230V/50Hz voltage that is CE Approved with a dimension of 19 in (48cm) x 19 in (48cm) x 40 in (102cm) along with a net weight of 225 lbs (102kg) and a 247 lbs (112kg), Palette 264 lbs (119.7kg) gross weight that includes a 1/2 hp, 835 RPM motor. In addition, it has a wide variety of features such as an 8507R multiple-sample rack that allows processing of three smaller samples in a 10-minute electronic timer with a LCD display and environmentally safe, push-button membrane switch.
