The Ruggedcom RX1100P is a power over ethernet appliance that works with a firewall, router and VPN setup to make it more effective as required. This router can work with a 4 10/100Base TX 802.3af PoE series of Ethernet ports. This can also establish a security perimeter around many utilities and works in many control systems. This router can protect and secure SCADA system networks that link to an online setup and can work in a Wide Area Network or Local Area Network. The RX1100P can manage security functions including IPSec VPN support and firewall help to manage many remote sites in a network. It also uses an intrusion detection setup to make the units that it manages easier to read as required.
