HP line of machine centers is designed specifically for high-speed milling of strong composite materials such as fiber-reinforced glasses. Functionality has been made top-notch using HSK63F tool holder, 12-24 station tool magazine, and SIEMENS 840D or HEIDENHAIN iTCN30 CNC control. The 17/22kW electronically controlled spindle offers speed up to 24000rpm, positioning accuracy of 25s, and repeatability of 15s. The spindle comprises pneumatic brakes and two motors, one (C) offering rotation of 450° and maximum speed of 120°/s, and the other (A), ±120° and 162°/s, respectively.
They also feature a separate shoulder structure that can accommodate samples as small as 2600×2000×1500mm to those as large as 6000×20000×3000mm with a single setting. The linear slides installed offers maximum speed of 70m/min along X-Y axis and 50m/min along the Z-axis with acceleration of 4m/s2, positioning accuracy of ±0.05mm/m, and a repeatability of 0.03mm.
