Metzner presents Dynamat series of fly-knife cutting machines. The series provides highest cutting rates of up to 3200 cuts every minute. The Dynamat machines are suitable for cutting elastic materials with accuracy and consistency. These materials include silicone tubing used in medical applications, textile-reinforced hoses, and profiles. The machine can handle any type of material, whether it has come from a single extruder or is untangled from a reel.

Dynamat series offers two methods of cutting.

The sporadic Stop-and-Go cut offers an effective cutting performance of up to 800 cuts per minute. The material is transported to its actual position by the belt feeder. It halts briefly during cutting of the material by guillotine. This brief halt ensures high length precision and an accurate right-angled cut.

For the uninterrupted cutting method, the feeder does not stop. It provides non-stop and simultaneous transportation and cutting. Due to this, it can provide a production output of up to 3200 pieces per minute.
