The unit is manufactured by Hotwatt, and is a foil heater that has been specifically developed to be used in a broad spectrum of operations. These operations include battery warmers, cabinets, defrosting, heated food tables, laboratory devices, incubators, ceiling panels, and as well as wall panels.

The design concept of the model consists of a resistant component, which is laminated in the middle of two layers of aluminum foil. It has the capacity to heat objects with temperatures ranging up to +300 °F, and can be operated with a supply voltage of either 120 V or 240 V.
