Radio telemetry system

The SpiroLink telemetry system consists of these major parts:
Entry Control Unit (ECU) ID system SCBA telemetry unit Repeater unit
The eCU displays all relevant information to the Entry Control Officer. A clear and logic user interface helps to control the incident. Easy to understand symbols and a minimum of buttons makes it easy to understand and use the system. The ruggedized ECU with touchscreen is available in a portable version including a carrying harness and in a version that is integrated into a mechanical deployment board. The SCBA TELEMEMTRY UNIT connects to the Interspiro SpiroGuide system. Once connected the telemetry functions activates automatically when SCBA is pressurized. The unit is placed between the cylinder and the backplate, fully integrated into the SCBA. An ID system enables rapid deployment by fire fighters only pressurizing their SCBA. A simple procedure at the station at shift start transfers name and team assignment from an ID card. REPEATER units secure a safe link even in extreme radio environments, such as underground tunnels, by extending the signal range of the system.
