The NIST Traceable Micrometer is ideally designed to provide a good quality performance and functionality for very specific purposes. It is very suitable for any microscope calibration and shading correction which is available with a NIST traceable certificate. The micrometer may be used for all transported and reflected lights. It is highly built with a 10 x 8 matrix of 250 micron-squares mainly used for the verification of an optical distortion. It is also constructed with a 16 370-micron thin bars at 11.25 degrees and 16 185-micron thin bars at 11.25 degrees coupled with a serial bar code meant for detecting its calibrated value.
