Gravimetric Blenders automatically and precisely blend multiple components. Typically Virgin, Regrind and Masterbatch for Injection and Blow Moulding applications.

Plastics processors can use sophisticated raw materials, advanced primary processing equipment and deploy the most efficient production processes but if they fail to accurately control the dosing and blend of materials then they fail to control a major cost centre of the business that affects productivity and quality throughout the production process.

Additionally, applications with more complex recipes of up to 10 different components, such as Film, Sheet and other extrusion processes will also benefit from the accuracy, simple operation, minimum setup time and low capital cost of a Gravimetric Blender.

Included in the Maguire Gravimetric Blender range is the MicroBlender; the smallest weigh scale blender in the world, that makes the benefits of Gravimetric Blending accessible and affordable to plastics processors operating small machines. The MicroBlender is capable of blending up to 4 components. All material hoppers are removable for fast and convenient material changes. The Weigh Scale Blender controller is remotely mounted providing easy access for the operator.
