AVA conical mixers with their typical single or double helix design were developed in order to find solutions to problems that continuously occur with traditional rotary screw conical devices. With the AVA-Helix design the risk of product contamination by loosen parts is avoided, also reducing maintenance costs and system malfunctions.

Fields of application

Helix agitators can process dry or wet products, fluid or sticky bulk materials filter cakes, sludges and liquids of various viscosities. Conical devices are ideal for almost any mixing task and the heated versions can also serve as dryers, reactors or evaporators.

Shortened batch time (mixing and drying), higher hygiene and better cleanability are additional advantages.

An additional bonus was provided by shortened mixing and drying times and improved cleanability.
