Hysteresis dynamometer brake

The HD range of Hysteresis Brake Dynamometers are specifically conceptualized for efficient testing operations in low and medium power applications. They perform optimally up to the 14 kW power range while providing intermittent services.

The device can induce efficient torque values without the use of speed. Thus, they are able to deliver optimum testing processes in the entire motor-testing spectrum from locked rotors to free run. The brakes are not cooled via external units. They incorporate convectional cooling or air cooling for which they are provided with a blower or compressed air source as per the model.

The dynamometers have rated continuous power as well as rated intermittent power. The device can disperse more power when used intermittently. The dynamometers provide extremely high precision services with full scale precision rates of ±0.25% to ±0.5%, which vary according to the dimensions and configurations of the model. High speed motor testing is available on specialized models.
