Permanent magnet hysteresis brake / electromagnetic particle

The PB series is a powder brake dynamometer that is appropriate for use in applications that are operating between low to moderate speed ranges or applications operating in moderate to high torque ranges. The electrical current which passes through the coil produces a magnetic field, and alters the property of a magnetic power, thus creates a smooth braking torque via friction.

The PB series offer complete torques at zero speed, and they are water-cooled, thus enabling them to attain power ratings lesser than or equal to 48 kW. The series have a rated accuracy that ranges from ±0.3% up to ±0.5% at full scale.
