The analogue pressure gauge visually checks the pressure changes in centralized lubrication systems. In centralized lubrication system with piston distributors pressure build-up, pressure level and pressure release, are the most important indicators of reliable operation. Pressure switches are used for automatic monitoring. In contrast to pressure gauges with analogue displays, only one signal is displayed when specific pressure value has been reached. Pressure switches with a piezo-resistive sensor element have two or more signal outputs. The magnitude of the switching pressure can be adjusted by programming the device. Pressure switches can normally be used for lubricants, oil and fluid grease.
