HOW IT WORKS
The vertical cylindrical reactor series CV, is an accessory necessary to mix the polyelectrolyte with the sludge, before that the sludge is deposited on the belt press charge hopper.
It is composed of a cylindrical tank, fitted with an electromixer with 18 rpm to achieve the best mixing and consistant sludge flocculation.The long time of contact sludge-poly, due to the volume of the CV, ensures good sludge flocculation which reduces the consumption of polymer and optimises the performance of the belt press both for the flowrate and for the final dry material given.
The cylinder is equipped with two inferior flanges, one for the sludge and polyelectrolyte, and the other (on the opposite side) for cleaning and maintenance. The discharge door, with rectangular shape, operates directly onto the belt press .
